Netcore Solutions, the Indian email security company, is geared up to grow into the next level of business. The security services provider is looking to not only grow its existing messaging and security solutions business but also launch new software and hardware solutions for the small and medium businesses in the country. The company is also scouting for channel partners across the country.
Talking about the new business plans Kalpit Jain, business head, messaging and security, Netcore Solutions, said, “We have been in the mail messaging and security industry for the last seven years. In fact we have gained
quite an expertise providing solutions on Linux. We are already catering to large corporates and some SMB players our email security solutions and services. In the next level of our growth we plan to launch other business
process related software on Linux for the SMB segment. Currently our products are in a beta stage, which we hope to bring into the market by next quarter.”
Besides the company is also working on introducing thin client devices for SMBs who are looking to cut total IT infrastructure cost. Netcore is looking to providing complete Linux based solution for the SMb segment. “We
also have a sister company Novatium, which manufactures our hardware devices. But we have yet to bring in these devices into the market, as the users are still not comfortable with Linux on desktop. However we hope that
by 2006 the market will be ready for such devices. We hope to showcase our devices very soon into the market,” added Jain.
Meanwhile the solution provider is also looking to move out of direct marketing in order to expand its market scope. “We are looking to increase our current channel base of 40/50 channel partners to about 400/500 by 2006. We are looking for partners who are already providing products and services to corporate and SMB segments,” informed Jain. However he says that the partners need not necessarily have very high technology knowledge as partners will be trained on the products. Also the total solution and service will be provided by Netcore directly to the customer. “Our channel partners will need to just pass on the confirmed business lead to us,” added Jain.
In order to create more awareness about the company and its products, Netcore is looking organize joint seminars with various channel associations across the country starting June this year. Netcore’s range of enterprise products and hosted services, includes Emergic CleanMail - an Internet-based filtering service to monitor and filter e-mail traffic, to protect against virus attacks, spam mails, and wasted bandwidth - , Emergic MailServ, Emergic Topsight, and Emergic Freedom.
