To spread awareness about its products in the country and also extend its reach, Netcore Solutions has decided to rope in a national distributor, besides increasing its tier one partners in the country.
Currently, the company has a channel base of around 40-50 partners all over the country and also sells directly to the customers. However, it is looking to get aggressive in the coming months and appoint more partners to expand the business. Netcore has set a target of 400-500 partners in the country by 2005-06.
Kalpit Jain, business head, messaging and security, Netcore Solutions, said, "We are interested in involving a national distributor. However, we are still in talks and nothing has been finalized yet. Also, for our partners we are looking at companies that are selling software solutions to SMEs and corporates."
The messaging, collaboration and security software vendor is also planning to organize joint seminars with vendors and associations like TAIT to spread awareness in the channel.
"We are looking at seminars of these kinds as a move to spread awareness about the offerings that we have. We have thought of associations like TAIT since they have a huge channel membership, and this will enable us to reach out to more channel partners. However, it is still in the pipeline and we have not yet approached the TAIT committee. Nonetheless, we are thinking of organizing such seminars by June," Jain said.
Netcore product portfolio comprises a range of enterprise products and hosted services, including Emergic CleanMail - an Internet-based filtering service to monitor and filter e-mail traffic, to protect against virus attacks, spam mails, and wasted bandwidth - , Emergic MailServ ( formerly, NS MailServ ), Emergic Topsight, and Emergic Freedom.
As a part of its initiatives for partners, the company does co-branding. Also, on CleanMail solutions the partners can make margins of up to 25-30 percent while on other solutions the partners can make margins of about 20 percent, Jain informed.
The company is also going to launch eClean Mail RealTime (eCMRT) solutions, which is an email alert on the mobile. The solution will be available in a week's time.
Headquartered in Mumbai, Netcore has two offices in New Delhi and Chennai. The company also has international presence in 15 countries.
